We were so happy to have Mrs. Cameron back in our classroom today. We learned all about our Blog Profiles and what type of information can be posted to our blog. There is a difference between personal and private information. You may post personal information on your blog but not any private information like your last name/surname. Make sure the information you post online is not personal. What other private information do you not post to your blog ?

This week we had Mrs.Anne in our classroom and she taught us some really good math skills. We did some multiplications. We used some new strategies to solve the Multiplications sums. The math sessions with Mrs.Anne was really fun and we have learned a lot. Do you like multiplications ?

For Term 2 we started doing some Multiplication. We love exploring different ways of multiplication sums. We have a lot of clever methods we tried to solve the multiplication problem. Our students used some resources to do skip counting in two's. We did some revision on skip counting from 2 to 5. By the use of shapes you can create some beautiful pictures by just using shapes. First Day back at school for Term 2

We are thankful to be back

Today was our first day back for term two since lockdown started. Room 12 was very happy to be back and we were so happy to see all of our friends and our teacher. We had a lot of fun on our first day back at school. We did some readings today and did a slight number talk for Math. Our creative brain was activated when we had to do a Shape Art picture. For fun we ended our day on the field with a game "Miss Izelle says".  Welcome back room 12.

Our Disney Activities

Today our topic was Disney and we got to do a quiz to test our knowledge about our Disney characters. We also did a review of our favourite movie. Have a look at some of our reviews. We did some art and we drew Winnie the Pooh and the character Stitch.

13th May - Online learning

Our topic of the day was Comics 

Today we learned about Comics and  Graphic stories. We had a choice on doing different activities like Flip-o-rama and we answered some tricky questions on Matific. We also had a fun math problem we had to solve ourselves. For Art we could draw our very own comic on a piece of paper or Google drawings. There was a new challenge set up for us on Storyboard and we could have a go if we'd like.

Our trip to space!!

We had an amazing trip to space ! 

Today was international Star War day. We focus on the solar system and learned a lot of new facts about space , like there is water floating around space and Uranus is the coldest planet in the solar system. Our art skills also improved and we drew some space rockets and astronauts. What was your topic of the day ?
